What do I do when I get to the hospital?

For your convenience, the Advocate Sherman Hospital Express Check-in areas are all clearly marked with an orange check. If you completed your appointment scheduling and pre-registration, you can proceed to the Express Check-in desk at the area of your service. So, for example, if you have pre-registered for an X-Ray, then you can proceed directly to the Express Check-in desk in Radiology.

How will I know where to go?

Maps with locations of all of our Express Check-in desks will be provided for your convenience. But if you have any questions, you can visit the main information desk, and one of our intake specialists can help you get where you need to go.

What happens if I don't schedule an appointment or pre-register?

If you haven't pre-registered, you should proceed to Advocate Sherman Hospital's Registration Desk to complete your registration. Walk-in patients who have their doctor orders in-hand will also need to proceed to Registration. But we encourage all of our patients to save time by to take advantage of Express Check-in.
